Time: 2020
Location: Limehouse, London
Program: Resitantial

The module was designed by considering solar radiation levels for each facade. The purpose of designing a two-storey module is to create a buffer zone and apply passive design strategies that will help to reduce the carbon footprint of the design. Having curved edges in the south and north facade help to recieve higher level of solar radiation which will create passive solar heating and natural lighting.

The modular circulation structure is designed for blocking the prevailing wind and creating shading during summer period by vegetation.

The openings in the south facade are created according to the sun angels. Therefore, each module has different window rotation angel.
